GoRummy offers 2 rounds and 3 rounds Deals Rummy. GoRummy players can play Deals Rummy with either real chips or play chips. In Deals Rummy game, there is no option of drop. If a player gets disconnected or does not react on his turn then the points held by him at the end of the game are considered. However, a maximum of 80 points only would be awarded to the loser.

On GoRummy, a player playing Deals Rummy can get a maximum of 80 points even when the losing player holds higher value cards. However, if the player has points that are below 80 then the lower score is considered.

If there’s a tie between the two players in Deals Rummy, a next round activates automatically which must be played to decide upon the winner. Winner of such round is declared as the Winner of the game.

How to play Deals Rummy on GoRummy?

Deals Rummy on GoRummy.com is played between 2 or 6 players with 1 or more packs of 53 cards each (53 is including the printed joker per pack).

A set of 13 cards will be dealt to each player at the table.

The card from the pack is placed in the open deck signaling that the game has begun.

Rest of the cards are placed face-down in the closed deck.

A joker card is randomly chosen at the start of each game.

Printed Joker: If a printed joker has been chosen as joker for that game, then players must an Ace card of all suits as a joker when forming sets and / or sequences.

Objective: Set all 13 cards in-hand in sequences and/or sets.

Each player either picks/discards a single card during their respective turns from closed/open deck to arrange in sets and/or sequences.

You may consider one or more jokers to finish your sets and/or sequences.

Also, you can include a card to the finish slot to show your sets and sequences

To call a show, the player must display the cards in hand by arranging in sets/sequences and clicking on ‘Declare’ button.

Mandatory: To declare the game, you must display at least two sequences, one of which must be a pure sequence.

After completing each deal, the winner will get chips from players who lost based upon their score.

How the players score in Deals Rummy?

Deciding upon the winner: A player who finishes with the least number of points are declared as the winner of the game

Points calculation for the lost players:

Each card reflects few points. All players who lost will be awarded points exactly to his/her hand score which is calculated as given below:

J, Q, K, A of any suit are valued at 10 points each.

All other numbered cards get the exact number of points as their face value. For instance, 7 gets 7 points and 3 gets 3 points.

Joker cards have zero points.

At the completion of the game, a losing player’s hand score is determined by including points for cards that are not in group as per sets/sequences with the below given exceptions.

If the losing player is without a pure sequence then all his cards would be considered for scoring excluding the Joker.

If the losing player does not display two sequences, but has formed a pure sequence, only the pure sequence is not included.

How many points do the players get?

A player is awarded a maximum of 80 points. This implies the fact that irrespective of the player having higher value cards, the points are limited to 80. Points valued below 80 will be awarded in the same way as counted.
